Each pollutant needs its own effect. Only carbon monoxide binds to haemoglobin, stopping oxygen transport — not or . Acid rain comes from and (which form acids), not . Particulates damage the lungs and can carry carcinogens. Vague "affects health" earns nothing — name the specific harm.
